FIRST DAY OF TRAINING...

not counting my orientation on monday, today is my first day of work in the state of california. seems worthy enough to document in the story of my life. 7:35am and i've got coffee and about 2.5 hours of sleep under my belt, i think? it's 35.6 degrees out there, but morning here always gives way to a beautiful afternoon averaging around 60.

with, also, one of the worst years of my life under my belt i somehow still find myself capable of being great full for many things, the least of them for certain not being little alijah jackson healing from his eye fiasco and sleeping in today, little lucky thing...

my cigarette quit attempt was a big fat FAIL! but that's okay... i'm going light on myself these days. i will not give up until i've overcome it. i have, however, decided that i am unallowed to smoke while at work so, maybe the rest of my time will follow...

anyway, that's about it for now...

today signifies a new day in my life. i will start this one last time way down at the bottom and i'll work my way towards something bigger and better, and i will be okay.
