flagstaff, for all it's proximity... 4 hours from tucson... reminds me a lot of back home. all the pine trees and cold nights... is going to snow any day now...

snow's actually late this year, and flagstaff is hurting because of the lack of snow on the mountain (large ski resort here...) the local tribes are fighting to keep artificial snow off of the mountain, slowing down the ski season here... and it's hurting the local economy a lot.

hanging out at bryes tonight... watching movies and having beers. not horribly excited about going back to tucson... tomorrow, we're bundling up to go hiking at sunset crater and check out winslow... for song lyric purposes... maybe to the petrified forest, and painted desert... i've seen it before but ron hasn't.

anyway... gotta go. having a wonderful vacation.
