NEW NURSING STUDENT #12

so much going on. firstly, the living situation is goodness. the cats and the dog are getting along just fine. infact i think they keep him company when we're both gone.

the bigger news is that i am now a nursing student!!!!!

after being narrowed down to 100 and then completing all of our requirements (ie shots, dps clearance, cpr training yada..) it was then announced we were being narrowed down to 30.

at this point it was first come first served... in my book that's a bit effed up but that's how they do it... sometimes you gotta play the game...

i got in line about 445am and waited for about 5 and a half hours known as #12. my place in line. it was a freezing arizona winter night. we had blankets and hot chocolate and gameboys and laptops and ipods.

as horrible as that all sounds, it actually was a good thing. i got to know some of the people i'll be in class with. makes the first day of classes not so very frightening at all.

so on with this next chapter of my life i guess. should be interesting. hellllllllllllllooooooooooooo 2010!

LIFE ON FRESNO

the last few days have been a whirlwind that also feel like they've lasted forever. to be veryyyyyy honest going back 2 work 2day was a refreshing break.

everything got moved. the uhaul was fun and totally worth it (that's my plug. go uhaul!). everything got moved out and keys were handed in this morning.

cats are doing ok. bruce the puppy comes home 2morrow. we'll see how that goes. the cats are digging my room. a little freaked about the rest of the house so far.

alright another crazy day over. another crazy day to begin.
