GAME OFF

187 - 210 - 112 (haha) ... i'm kinda at a plateau, and i deserve it. whatever... keeping up the fight.

i've in the end decided to decline on the new apartment. it was kind of a weird set up. this fabulous huge 2 car garage 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhome that was in some serious need of a make over.... anyway... so the deal was that we'd pay 600 instead of 650 (which was already seriously reduced)... because we were to paint it. it was a wreck. but then she raised it up to 750 and then dropped it down to 650 (at this point, who knows if it'll move again..) but the thing was... there was no lease. so she'd already changed the rent 3 times before we'd even gotten the keys...??

with no lease?

so, were we gonna go in do all this work and then she'd raise it up to 900?? i find myself uninterested in that sort of situation. her friends called her "a good business woman." whatttt??? perhaps i'd put up with that sorta bullshit if it was in new york or some other fabulous place... but tucson? helllz no...

so... moving is out. game off. (hate her.)

BACK ON THE WAGON

i took like a month off and here i am back up at almost 190 - oh hell no! so... here we go again i will not cave this time, no matter how many mexican restaurants i get invited to! OH HELL NO!

CHIPPING PAINT...

so... i've begun chipping the paint in the living room, going through closets... checking out what i am keeping and what i am not. getting ready for the move. it kinda makes me sick to think about it. i'm wildly unsure of it, but honestly... what the hell.

when we looked at it, as you can see in the pictures... there were about 8 kids from the U of A living there that abandoned their lease and left quite the mess.

The first picture is basically standing in the dining room and looking out into the living room. that glass door at the back goes out onto a long "arizona room" porch. probably could be a bedroom... a 2nd living room is what we are thinking. Jake and Sirius' room - hahah.. our bedrooms are off to the left and .. that's the kitchen in the 2nd photo and a look into my bedroom in the 3rd. right now the place is being cleaned up and repainted. i've got a bit over a month before i move in. so plenty of time to freak out and get my place ready to be handed back to TMI, my landlord.

i have honestly loved living here and it's going to be strange not. i think i'm ready to give it a go with a roomie tho, and Mo is a pretty cool guy. i don't know exactly how long it will last but... there doesn't seem to be any lease thus far so it's not really a big worry. the place is incredible. it's not far at all from where i am living now, and it's excellent in it's location with school. since i work about 20 miles south of tucson, the proximity to school i guess is what i can be happy about.

let's see... what else? you have no idea how much crap you really own until you are considering ways of moving it all to another location. honestly. it's insane.

anyhow... cats are great. coffee is yummy... school is out (for another week or so for me). things are good.

i am taking an accelerated course for my writing class that begins may 27. it's 5 weeks but my teacher believes i could finish it in 2 or 3 weeks. then a trip home sounds really really nice.

yay! trip back east looks possible and looks like it's going to be nearing the end of june. updates to come. still working on it.

Right... so i went to subway for dinner tonight. Home alone working on my math final and i wanted something quick but not a drive-thru.

so i get up and go to subway. the one in my neighborhood is kinda lame so i approached with caution. sure enough, there was a super long line. 3 employees and only one dude making sandwhiches (i bet he quits). anyway, so then i get up to the cashier who's sorta just kicking back being all chill.... not having a whole lot to do coz the other guy is doing everything, and i get out my wallet to pay and guess what! NO WALLET! i panic, i say i'm sorry. i could go home and get it... the chill cashier dude proving that he really is quite chill says to me, "ahhh don't worry about it. just this one time tho, alright?" and gives me my sub for free!

well... happy sunday all

flights back east are wildly expensive (mom and i are in cohorts to figure something up.. so no need for panic yet, i've been told - comforting.). i'm also gearing up to move. i think it's time i got a roommate, and the place is amazing.

...and i've got a lot of restorative painting to do @ my current apartment.

i've really liked living here. i will save 1200 a year by moving. that's significant, right? plus i will have a roomie to help pay for utilities.

plus i'm not a person who should live alone maybe? i'll revisit this idea in a while after i've had a roommate =) hahaha

i've had my good whole 18 months alone. --- actually it's been longer than that, hasn't it.

ahhhh, changes. it's good to mix things up every now and then. frack up your routine. actually i believe this. i, infact, used to kinda be addicted to it.

what else... OH madonna is going on tour this fall!!! the "sticky and sweet" tour =) gotta love her! i'm sooo going! i am SO GOING!

i made a promise to myself that this tour i would not miss. it had something to do with that it might be her last tour and i'd miss out... but i think it's pretty clear latley that the bitch ain't stopping any time soon! - a good thing.

I HEART COFFEE

Happpy way-too-early-on-a-thursday-morning to everybody! i am begining to h4..7ave sinking suspicions that if it were not for coffee i might wake up, sure... but i don't know that i'd ever move at all.

i'd probably manage to make it out of bed, but wherever it was i made it too (probably here...) i'd just not move again.

i'd probably keep one of my fingers held down on a computer key and just stare..

i'd be found with the coffee jar empty and probably checking out perezhilton.com which is the top website for girls 18-25. ugh.

not much is going on. a lot of school, i guess.

let's see.... music? ok... i kinda dig mariah carey's new song 'bye bye." madonna is #1 all over the place!! go her, and she IS going on tour this year.

i know it sounds crazy but i'm really really considering buying tickets to the vegas show.

bitch is 50 and she's on fire. i gotz to go see her! more updates on that.
