REPORTING LIVE: FROM FINALS WEEK..UGH

good morning happy blog world! #1 in the coffee count for this morning, so far and listening to joni mitchells new album. she's currently doing a song version of rudyard kipling's "if." it sounds like something that would be on a 2005 ani difranco disc. i don't hate it.

i have my last final today at 2:45. yay! for that to be over and done with =) i'm thinking about taking a music theory class next semester to compliment the new beginings of my recording studio that i have begun working on again.

blue skies and sun again here in southern arizona. i'm told the winds are comming and i cannot say i am anything but hopeful and excited for that.

in other news, in this last fall of rain that we were lucky enough to get (though most of us were miserable and shaking fists at skies and other drivers on our morning commute to work during the actual rain fall), my wall/roof started leaking again. thankfully, it has been fixed but the water damage to the wall was severe and needs to be re-painted. this is actually great news because i've been at odds with myself about painting that exact wall a very bright red for months.

so guess what i'm doing this weekend, ha!

the kittens are great. each with their own little personality, and endless hours of fun. i'm greatuful for them, actually. rather than burdened by their non-expected births. i will be very sad to see them go, and do not look forward to the day at ALL!

i suppose that is all for now. drove home through downtown last night. tucson was brave with their brightly colored trees in the central median park. bright blues and reds and oranges and multicoloreds for each tree. i might take a walk through downtown before christmas comes to take some pictures. i fully back the rio-nuevo project in downtown. not because i think it's well thought out, or even that it's worth the money or hassle that it's hinting at, but because this is a city of over a million people, and it kinda sorta needs to start acting like it.

anyhowzits.... peace to the grubby little kids. see you all later!
